Description: Dan & I at the Bushplane Museum in the Sault.
Land in the St Marys River and taxi up the ramp. This was very neat
water aerodrome (CPX8) and there were no extra fees for day use.
Could have stayed overnight but that would cost. Only $11 entrance
fee and great museum.

The ramp was the best I have ever seen. Dan got a picture of me up the shallow slope.

Visited a few years ago on our way to London Ont. Liked the museum a lot. Not big but some very interesting items, especially if you are interested in water planes.

Great find, Lee! I've been in Sault Ste Marie several times, but never knew of the museum.

Agree with Don. Looks like a great stop enroute from Oshkosh to the annual Georgia Bay Gaggle.
I added it with your photos to my RCR4 - Mid-Atlantic Seaplane Friendly Locales Google Map

If I remember rightly there's a Folker passenger plane with huge floats that look as though they are cobbled together from 2x4s!

    Chris
Is this the Fokker tri-motor you're thinking of?
This is a replica that didn't fly but it was in Amelia Earhart film of 2009.
Very ugly floats.
