Those of us that have been around Searey's for awhile and have been to the old PA shop in Orlando knew Kerrys mother Nina or mom. She worked in the shop and had her own little room there if I remember right, were she made seats and other parts for the Searey. Wayne Richter was at many of my fly-ins and by his side was Nina mostly watching after her grand kids as we had our little Searey Gatherings. She would always greet you with a warm smile.

Back in the '90's and into the 2000's Nita packed every one of the kits in her little air conditioned room on Clifton Street. She got them all correct too, I know 'cause she packed 2 for me. At OSH this July Kerry said she wasn't well. Condolences to Wayne, Renee, Kerry and Michelle. Jan and Rolf

I think of her every time I put on the cockpit cover that she made for my plane. She was a very nice, thoughtful gal. The last time I chatted with her was at Kermit's place during Sun-n-Fun, about 5 or 6 years ago. She was having trouble remembering things, but was still smiling.
