Chuck Cavanaugh splashed in here in Shangri-La-di-da a few minutes past a fairly low low tide today. This video shows his departure, about 75 minutes later.

Alas! When he landed I was too busy fooling with the handheld radio to make a video. But let it be known that he set a new Visitors Low Tide Arrival record, surpassing Rob Richardson who arrived at about the same tide level, but tied to the buoy instead of powering ashore through the goo. Chuck was steadfast on the throttle in the gooey place and never faltered even for an instant. He prevailed!

He had the mud splashes on the sides of the hull to prove it.

Here's a low-res version of the video. The 1080p version wouldn't upload to the original post--timed out.      Attachments:

Always a pleasure, Don. I even managed to get my flip-flops clean.

Nicely done! I especially like the way Chuck cleaned off his flip flops.
