John Dunlop and Doug Rogerson and me doing a formation t/o from Turtle Cove. IDK 070....C-FVMU... had an empty weight of 770 lbs and an 'A' hull....and 80 HP. Don't know the exact details of the other planes....maybe John can comment. It is obvious who got airborne first.....all from about the same starting line. John had do make a bit of a heading correction to maintain separation.

Dave, are you sure there wasn't more wind down the middle? As I recall, Doug (on the right?) had the 80 hp Rotax 912 and a B or C hull. John had a 100 hp 912S and a C hull.

Don't think there was much wind to factor in. John would probably have a better recollection of the weights and HP of their planes.
